Identification Tips
- True clover leaflets are rounded and attached at a single point; sorrel (Oxalis) has heart-shaped leaflets that fold.
- Look for petiole placement, leaflet shape, and venation patterns.
- Use a magnifier to inspect small differences; leaf margins and venation are diagnostic.
